“Vida Privada” (Private Life) will premiere at the Oficial Selection of Igualada Zoom Festival. The mini-series screenplay is an adaptation from the sordid novel with the same name by Josep Maria de Sagarra and will be screened Saturday the 25th of November at Cinema Ateneu (Igualada).

The story takes place among the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera and the Second Republic. When the total decay of the Lloberola, an aristocratic family of Barcelona, occurs. They are completely ruined due to their patriarch’s inability to adapt to new times. His eldest son, Frederic, is a victim of this inherited weakness and will not keep the high status, but his youngest brother, Guillem, will fight for returning to the top at all costs and without scrupulous.

“Vida privada” is a co-production between TV3 and Oberon Cinematogràfica, with the associated production of ImpulsaFilm and with the collaboration of the Culture Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
