This morning took place the reading of the nominees for the Gaudí Awards 2020. The highest triumphant has been ‘A thief’s daughter’ which has been the one that has obtained a greater number of nominations for a total of 13 categories.

The categories for which ‘A thief’s daughter’ has been nominated were:

Best film in non-Catalan language

Best director; Belén Funes

Best screenplay; Belén Funes and Marçal Cebrián

Best actress; Greta Fernández

Best actor; Eduard Fernández

Best supporting actor; Àlex Monner

Best photography; Neus Ollé

Best film editing; Bernat Aragonés

Best artistic direction; Marta Bazaco

Best costume design; Desirée Guirao

Best makeup and hairstyling; Elisa Alonso

Best sound editing; Sergio Rueda, Enrique G. Bermejo and Carlos Jiménez

Best production direction; Marta Ramírez

The reading of the nominees has taken place in the emblematic building ‘La Pedrera’ by Antoni Gaudí and has been carried out by the actors awarded in the previous edition of the Awards, Anna Castillo and Oriol Pla. This 12th edition of the Gaudí Awards will be held on January 19th at the CCIB Forum Auditorium where the winners will be known.
